We are Letters from the brain. A student-led neuroscience blog, studying all sorts of brain-related fields, be it psychology, neuroscience, or cognitive sciences. We take the big, overwhelming questions, and answer them in a simple, easy-to-read article, written by our members, and soon enough, you. All by using insights from psychology, neuroscience, and other fields that help us better understand ourselves and the world around us. Be mindful, we are still a new blog and are trying our best to put out new blogs consistently!
Sarah
Hi! I’m Sarah, the founder and editor-in-chief of Letters from the Brain. I started this blog to make neuroscience and psychology accessible and exciting for teens and young adults.
As editor-in-chief, I oversee all the content on the site, and I also love writing articles that explore the brain, mental health, and how we think in ways that are relatable and fun. When I’m not writing or editing, you’ll probably find me sketching, listening to music, or experimenting with creative projects.
Angelina
Hello! I’m Angelina, one of the three executives behind Letters from the Brain. I oversee the writing team and help with social media content. I joined this blog because of my interest in understanding how our brain works and it's impact to our everyday lives, especially as students. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simple, helpful tips that others can actually use and understand!
In my free time, I enjoy taking long walks with my dog, exploring new places and trying new foods!
Farah
Hi! I'm Farah, and I’m one of the three executives for Letters from the brain! The brain is the most interesting organ to me, and I could go on and on about how strange yet awesome the brain is, which is why I joined lettersfromthebrain. It is my goal to get other people my age to discover the magic behind the brain through fun articles.
Outside of the blog, I enjoy baking/cooking, playing chess, and playing with my cat Basboosa!
